Born in New York City, and raised in Miami, Florida, partial in Puerto Rico, Alex has been performing professionaly since he was a teenager. He is proud to accept the recognition of being the first person to influence Urban Dance Style (breaking, locking and popping), in Puerto Rico. Mr Polanco's talents have lead him to be featured with renowned artists including Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Miami Sound Machine, Iris Chacon, KC and The Sunshine Band, Kool and The Gang and Vicki Sue Robinson. After achieving acclaim around the world for his acrobatic, lockdancing, roller-skating and pantomime talents, He is back in New York City as one of the main choreographers of break! The Urban Funk Spectacular and the new Hit show Individual Funkbecause funk is individual!
